General 

The following terms and conditions set out the legal rules applicable to the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit 2024. Participants shall be bound by these terms and conditions upon registering for the conference and are advised to read and understand these terms carefully before registering. The organizer will not accept any conditions contradictory to or deviant from these general terms and conditions.

Organizer
Responsible for the organization of the conference is the Universitaet der Bundeswehr Muenchen, ISTA, Institute of Space Technology and Space Applications, Building 62, on behalf of ITIS e.V. Werner-Heisenberg-Weg 39, 85577 Neubiberg, Germany.

Registration
Registration for the conference must be done through the online registration system. Participants will receive an automatic confirmation of the registration details. If you do not obtain anything, please send an email to info(at)munich-satellite-navigation-summit.org to make sure that the organizer has received your booking. Registration will only be effective on receipt of the registration fee or after authorization of credit card payment. Please notify any corrections to your registration immediately. Free press registrations are available for up to two representatives per media (valid press pass required).

Fees and Payment Conditions
The registration fee includes admission to all conference sessions, a detailed program, a list of participants, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, lunch and social events. The registration fee does not include the cost of travel, accommodation and meals, which are additional expenses.

We recommend using the bank transfer or online payment (Master Card, Visa) when registering for the conference. After the online payment or after your registration fee has arrived at our bank account you will receive an automatic e-mail message that the transaction was successful. All payments are made in Euro.

Cancellation
Fees for written cancellations received prior to Feb. 18, 2024 are refundable less 150 €.  After Feb. 18, 2024 there will be no refunds. The participant has the right to appoint a substitute at any time without additional costs.

All cancellations and changes must be submitted in written form - with the indication of full name, invoice number and bank details for reimbursement. Contact: antje.tucci@munich-satellite-navigation-summit.org

The organizer reserves the right to modify the content of the program, the speakers and the times of presentations. If the number of participants is insufficient, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the conference and all related products and/or services without any liability on his part. In the case of a cancellation by the organizer, participants will be reimbursed the registration fee actually paid.

Liability
The organizer does not accept liability for the up-to-dateness, correctness and completeness in respect to conference documentation and content.
The organizer accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury to persons or property during the conference.

Photographs and Videos
The conference will be recorded on video. The organizer may, free of charge and without further consent of the participants, use and publish pictures, recordings and videos of the participants and/or their works (e.g. posters, excerpts of presentations or lectures) taken during the conference for reports about the conference and announcements of future events.

Privacy Policy
All personal data provided to the organizer for registration will be treated as confidential. The data shall be used and stored for further processing and documentation purposes. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose. Data shall be delivered to assigned service providers, as deemed necessary for the successful performance of the conference. The organizer will only disclose information to third parties if that is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose(s) identified above.

Severability Clause
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

Disputes
All agreements between the organizer and the participant and all disputes which may arise between the organizer and the participants shall be exclusively subject to German law. The Court of jurisdiction shall be Munich.
