PROGRAM 2008
The first COMPASS satellite is launched. Will the system be
ready before Galileo is in operation? China and South Korea are joining the
Galileo program. Australia is hosting a Galileo sensor station and builds up
its regional augmentation system called GRAS. This panel presents the
perspectives of satellite navigation in China, South Korea and Australia and
discusses the worldwide impact of the Asian developments and market.
